Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh Technical Administrative Officer – Bangladesh
Reporting to: Bangladesh Country Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Technical Administrative Officer to support co-ordination activities between clients, the Country Manager, and our UK office. The selected candidate will be responsible for collecting missing client information, maintaining documentation, and ensuring smooth communication across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work in an ethical and professional manner in alignment with company policies and principles.
• Collect missing documentation or information from clients and submit complete and accurate paperwork to the UK office.
• Communicate with clients via email and phone, and follow up to ensure timely submission of required information.
• Coordinate effectively with UK administrative and technical staff.
• Establish, organise, and maintain confidential files; retrieve information as needed.
• Efficiently use computer applications, including email, MS Word, Excel, and PDF tools.
• Update and maintain databases such as mailing lists, contact lists, and client records.
• Perform other related administrative duties as assigned on a day-to-day basis.
Desired Candidate Profile:
• Graduate, preferably with a B.Tech. or Diploma in Textiles.
• Strong English communication skills—both written and verbal.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word & Excel), email, and internet usage.
• Experience in client coordination, buyer communication, or similar roles, preferably within a textile testing laboratory.
• Knowledge of the basic textile supply chain (from fibre to garment manufacturing).
• Strong ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be eligible and have the necessary documentation to obtain a visa for international travel; training will be provided at Shirley Technologies, UK, as required.
Work Experience: 2–5 years
• Training will be provided at Shirley Technologies, UK, the candidate must be able to obtain a visa for travel to the UK.
• Work Experience of more than 5 years
• Salary: As per market level
