We are looking for a Sample Preparation Technician to join our team and play an important role in supporting our laboratory operations. Key Responsibilities

• Receive, store and prepare textile and related samples for chemical and textile testing.
• Confirm sample suitability during daily handover meetings with adjacent departments.
• Accurately prepare samples to specified dimensions and weights using scissors, blades and mechanical tools.
• Label prepared samples correctly and ensure a smooth handover to laboratory technicians.
• Maintain organised storage of active test samples to ensure they are easily accessible.
• Coordinate priority sample requests from laboratory technicians.
• Keep the sample preparation room clean, tidy and well organised.
• Archive samples once testing is complete and dispose of excess samples appropriately.
• Follow established procedures to maintain high quality standards and ensure safe working practices at all times.
